چکیده

The alarming increase in bacterial resistance to antibiotics caused some authors state that we are approaching a post-antibiotic era and medical catastrophe, the study aimed assess antimicrobial effects of selected plant extracts against several sensitive resistant isolates. Experimental cross-sectional was conducted, 70% ethanol crude Acaccia nilotica, Trigonella foenum-graecum, Punica granatum Commiphora myrrha extract prepared commercial antimicrobials agent tested, antibacterial activity investigated using disc diffusion method. inhibition zones' diameters (mm) were calculated interpreted by Zone Diameter Interpretative Standards. Data analyzed (SPSS) software version 22. About 200% A. nilotica T. foenum-graecum showed bactericidal Enterococcus faecalis, means ±SD (12.3 ± 2.8 12.5 2.1). C. highest all diverse bacterial. Despite relatively high zone among extracts, findings demonstrate there is no statistical significance inhibitory impact varying concentrations plants isolates (P. value ? 0.05). outcomes used under demonstrated herbal can be superior potential than result broad spectrum utilized. potent species.
